Dr. Eric King is an Attending Physician in Orthopedic Surgery at Children’s Memorial Hospital.

At Children’s Memorial, more than 15,000 children receive treatment each year for conditions such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, bone dysplasias and traumas.  “I don’t know of anyone in any profession who could continue to do a job where they are paid only one-third the cost of the service they provide, but that is exactly what the State is asking pediatric specialists like me to do.  We want to care for these kids.  They deserve our care.  But this situation is unsustainable.”
